Harlem Heritage Apollo Theater Walking Tour is a combination
of Harlem sightseeing tour and tour of World Famous Apollo Theatre.  

There is no theater in Black America more historic and culturally impactful than the World Famous Apollo Theater. So many iconic entertainers and historic moments have taken place on this stage, people come from around the world to see it, but they also want to learn the overall history of Harlem as well, therefore we present the Harlem Heritage Apollo Theater Multi-Media Walking Tour, following is a description of the event:

• Starts at the World Famous Apollo Theater with in depth behind the scenes tour of the legendary Theater. Learn the 88 year history from Mr. Apollo Billy Mitchell, learn the heritage of the historic theater and maybe even sing a song yourself in the very spot where Ella Fitzgerald and many other renowned entertainers once stood.

• Visit to Apollo Theater followed with 90 minute multi-media walking tour covering Harlem's over all all history with emphasis on music and entertainment, Harlem born and raised tour guide will provide narrative, complimented with portable video, sound and pictures presented along the way, this will bring the heritage to life

Start:  Apollo Theater 253 West 125th Street, all major train lines arrive to 125th Street including #2 and #3 on red IRT lines and ABCD on the IND lines.

Time:  11 AM Saturdays
